The day began at 7, the trip to Bintan (Tanjung Pinang) takes 2 hours by fast craft from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, which is about slightly less than an hour's drive away from Lynn's place. The mood was good, a tad sleepy though.
The trip on the fast craft was easy, sleeping through the entire trip since I woke up so early, trying to make up or loss sleeping time. That's how my body works. Upon Reaching the hotel at Tanjung Pinang town area, we unloaded and had quite a fulfilling lunch. You really needed to eat, cause the next meal would be about 9pm.
After lunch we geared up and prepared to leave for Kg Perakit, which is on the extreme southern part of the island, about 2 hours drive away. The roads to the village was terrible... no properly paved roads, not even cement, it was mud. I can't imagine what would happen if it were to rain and we get stuck in the mud. The scenery there is breathtaking.

Why sleep? Nightmares are the self-mutilation of our subconscious.
Really amazing.
